Let’s salute the nation on this auspicious day!
It was a golden day in the history of India when the country got her freedom on August 15, 1947. It took hundreds of years to us to break shackles of slavery. People of the country celebrate this festival every year with great pomp and show. The main Programme is celebrated at the Red Fort in New Delhi. Besides this festival is also celebrated in every city and town, in schools, colleges and universities. Same took place in RBK Global School , as every year. Primary Section celebrated their Independence day on 14th August. The celebration begin by welcoming guest of honour followed by a patriotic song sung by school choir, praising our motherland. After the marvelous song we had an inspiring speech presented by our learner . A PPT was presented by our learners showing the significance of Independence Day for us as well as the people who sacrificed themselves so that we can attain this most precious thing. To make our celebration complete we had winners of Patriotic Song competition presenting their songs.
After the enthralling performances by the winners we had something unusual but very exciting presentation by some of our learners who captured hearts by presenting our National anthem in sign language which was indeed marvelous.
Our celebration ended with a vote of thanks presented by our learners Vinamrata Khandelwal and Yana Dhandharia from Grade 2 followed by some great and inspiring thoughts from our principal ma'am.
