"The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination." - Albert Einstein Drawing is a curious process, so intertwined with the process of seeing that the two can hardly be separated. Ability to draw depends on ability to see the way an artist sees, and this kind of seeing can marvelously enrich the life of a child. RBK Global School teaches the art of drawing to help the students to discover these abilities. When children get a chance to express their creativity and dive into art, they develop confidence, increase their empathy and discover how to look at the world from different perspectives. All those skills help prepare students to take on the world with passion and creativity. A ‘Patriotic Song Competition’ was organized on 8th and 9th August 2017 to expose our children to music, while also enhancing their language and presentation skills. The students prepared well for the competition and a wide range of songs were presented. While the choice of songs ranged from the patriotic to the popular, it was interesting that each child had worked hard to comprehend the lyrics and sing the songs with conviction. Each one of them sang with the same zeal evoking the feeling of patriotism in all present. Their songs invoked a strong sense of patriotism in each one who listened. The room was resplendent with a feeling of belonging and pride.
