"Every child is born creative: Keep that creativity alive."
Art is a delightful way through which we can record the development of our children. Just as writing and reading improves with age, so does artwork. Creating art is a fine way for children to make choices and solve problems. Every step involves making a decision: what color to use, how to draw something, its shape, size and structure. With every choice the object becomes more and more creative and innovative in its own style. Everyone has an imagination. Art takes it a step further. Through art, children create something that, till now, was only imagined. Thus, they create visual manifestations of abstract ideas. Adapting all the positivity, RBK Global School believes that kids should be encouraged to express themselves and take risks in creating art as they develop a sense of innovation that will be important in their adult lives. “The kind of people society needs to make it move forward are thinking, inventive people who seek new ways and improvements, not people who can only follow directions,” says Kohl. “Art is a way to encourage the process and the experience of thinking and making things better!”

Students of all grades participated in a rejuvenating experience of immersing themselves in the peaceful practice of Yogasana.
"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self." Highlighting the objective of Yoga and talking about the importance of Yoga Day, students were oriented towards breathing techniques that help them connect with their inner selves allowing them to reflect on the tranquility achieved through this. The display demonstrated and depicted the learning through the yoga as our students showcased on the eight strands they had learnt. As a school, we strongly believe that Yoga is the way to beautifully connect with ourselves and lead a healthy life”. RBK Global School strongly professes “Leadership” as an important and imperative skill of the 21st century. We also believe that leadership is best developed when imbibed from the foundation years and hence the school observes the Investiture Ceremony as a platform of nurturing the future leaders.
To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, the investiture ceremony was held on 17/6/2016 at the Multipurpose hall in RBK Global School. The solemn ceremony commenced with a welcome song by the choir group. This was followed by the marching of the Student Council. It was indeed a proud moment for the Council members as they received the sashes and badges from our Principal, Dr. Shitala Prabhu. "We make the world we live in and shape our own environment"
World environment day 2017 was celebrated by the people all across the world on 5th of June. RBK Global School organized it’s annual Environment Week from 6th to 9th June, 2017. The children were sensitized towards their environment through various activities spanning the week. The children enjoyed the week and learnt many new things about our environment. Different activities were organized for each class throughout the week with all students participating in them. On this day, students at RBK Global School demonstrated their support and concern towards mother earth. They discussed “How with some conscious efforts they can contribute to save our planet?” Many children came with thoughts, “How they can save our mother nature?” Few students came with suggestions like being eco-friendly, planting more trees; less use of energy, less use of plastic, use of public transport can help to save our planet. They were made aware that how 3 R’s (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) can help us to save our earth from devastation. Students understood that it’s in our hands to save and keep earth beautiful. Our Coordinator Ms Lakshmi Arun on the occasion said “Devastation of Mother Earth is really a big concern which is immensely affecting our climate. As responsible human beings, we collectively need to take care of our mother earth who has blessed us with all resources for our survival and one day we all have to give her back in one or the other way”. |
